Falling and dropped objects at the worksite are a leading cause of injury and fatality.

Great Southern Access can assist in surveying infrastructure by completing tactile and visual inspections, often while completing other work scopes, to retrieve, make safe and secure any potential falling objects that may be in inaccessible areas.

Potential dropped objects are often:

• Structural bolts that have become loose over time, or forgotten by riggers when a structure was erected.

• Old tools and equipment left on ledges and structure in places no longer regularly accessed.

• Spalling concrete due to the expansion of re-enforcing steel.
